A tisket a tasket, let’s make some crafts for our Easter baskets. It’s DIY easy! Gather a few craft supplies and get ready to have lots of fun creating easy and egg-cellent crafts with your kiddos. Then present them to some bunny you love.
Egg Carton Bunnies
This simple craft is so fun and cute. Take a recycled egg carton and cut out individual egg cup holders. Trim the bottom so it lays flat. Next, cut a square out of the top of the carton to make two bunny ears. Use white paint or chalk pen to draw inside the ears. Then, glue the ears to the back of the egg cup. Finally, using markers or crayons, draw the bunny’s eyes and mouth black and the nose pink. Finish by drawing whiskers. Adorable!
Coffee Filter Basket Flower
Supplies you’ll need for this clever basket craft are a coffee filter, construction paper, glue stick, and crayons. Lay the construction paper flat on the table and apply glue to the back of the coffee filter. Using your favorite color crayon, color the inside of the coffee filter. Draw the stem from the bottom, center of the filter to the bottom on the paper. Next, draw a few leaves on the flower’s stem. Fill the basket with jelly beans and display as a centerpiece or frame the picture and enjoy as original wall art.
Takeout Container Basket
This cutie is easily crafted with a clean or unused Chinese food take-out container, tissue paper, spring-inspired stickers, and colorful ribbon. Using your imagination, apply multiple stickers to the outside and inside the container, fill with strips of tissue paper, and tie a ribbon around the handle. Fill the DIY basket with candy and Easter eggs. Sweet!
